Join the Harbor Association of Industry and Commerce for a morning conversation with California State Senator Tony Strickland, representing the 36th Senate District.

Senator Strickland brings decades of public service at the state and local level. In the current legislative session, his committee assignments place him at the center of policy decisions affecting business operations, workforce policy, infrastructure investment, and regulatory oversight.

He serves as a member of the Banking and Financial Institutions Committee, the Business, Professions and Economic Development Committee, and the Energy, Utilities and Communications Committee, where issues such as access to capital, regulatory reform, energy reliability, and utility costs are debated. He also serves as Vice Chair of the Transportation Committee and Vice Chair of the Labor, Public Employment and Retirement Committee, giving him a leadership role on matters directly tied to goods movement, infrastructure funding, workforce costs, and labor policy impacting employers  Committee Assignemnts.

This informal coffee discussion offers you direct access to Senator Strickland to hear his perspective on the legislative outlook and engage in a candid exchange on transportation, infrastructure, workforce development, energy policy, and the future of California’s trade and industrial economy.
